Superbowl halftime show sucked as usual
Bruce Springsteen? Hasn’t he retired yet?
Let’s see, since Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson caused this controversy, let’s see the past performers:
2005- Paul McCartney…a Beatles reunion is better. However, 2 of them have passed on.
2006- The Rolling Stones…NFL and the Network cried wolf and censored songs. What about the song Paint it Black?
2007- Prince…you gotta be kidding me?
2008- Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers…Enough said.
Until the No Fun League loosens up their selection, next year, I’m guessing it will be either Eric Clapton or The Drifters.
Anyways, I liked how South Park parodied this incident: Violence and cuss words are okay but nudity is a huge deal. Same goes with Simpsons. It was an episode when Marge protest about the violence in Itchy and Scratchy cartoons then when Michelangelo’s David came to Springfield, it caused an uproar.
