The lineup for the annual Independence Day concert, A Capitol Fourth is here.  Among those scheduled to perform at the 29th annual fireworks festivities are Natasha Bedingfield, Barry Manilow and Vanessa Williams, along with several characters from Sesame Street, according to a source. Jimmy Smits is said to be hosting.

For the Memorial Day affair, Katie Holmes will read the personal story of a veteran’s sister. Holmes’ former Broadway costar Dianne Wiest will read the story of the soldier’s mother.

Others taking part in the 20th anniversary broadcast of the concert include Laurence Fishburne, Katharine McPhee, country music singer Trace Adkins and Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell, among others.
