Bale to star in Prisoners
Christian Bale is rumored to be interested in joining the cast of The Prisoners. Mark Wahlberg is already attached to star and Bryan Singer (The Usual Suspects, X-Men) is said to be interested in directing this thriller that, word has it, contains shades of Seven and Silence of the Lambs.
The plot centers around two men, one a police officer and the other a carpenter. When the carpenter’s daughter is kidnapped, he takes matters into his own hands and captures the person he thinks is responsible thinking the cop isn’t as focused as he should be on the case.
