Hayden Panettiere is feeling broody after getting in some early parenting practise as a god mother.

The actress, 19, is single after splitting from Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia earlier this year, but admits she yearns to be a mum and have a big family.

She says, “As a god mother, I have a bit of responsibility. Oh my god, you’re tired and you just want to sleep in but you’ve got to take care of a baby. I hope I have that much patience.

“I’m 19 and I want a family. I actually want a lot of kids, but not like 10.”
