Jessica Alba has revealed being pregnant freed her from worrying about her figure.
The 29-year-old Hollywood star and sex symbol – who has a two-year-old daughter Honor with her husband Cash Warren and has recently announced she is expecting her second child – told Vogue becoming a mother taught her to worry less about how she looks.
Jessica said: “After the pregnancy, I felt liberated. I learnt to accept my body and to give less importance to my appearance. Being a mother has taught me how to adapt to any situation.”
The Killer Inside Me star posed for a sexy fashion shoot in the April issue of Vogue Italia, but said she prefers to wear less revealing clothes when she is out of the public eye.
Jessica said: “My own style is probably a mixture of high and low. I’m definitely into sort of layering and I like mystery so I don’t put it all out there.
“I play dress-up for a living – for photo shoots and for working and movies or whatnot – I sort of wear more revealing things that show my body. But in life I like things that have a little bit more mystery. I like things that are elegant and chic, but then a little rock ‘n’ roll.”
