Mena Suvari is nursing a badly bruised toe after injuring herself walking out of a restroom stall.
The American Beauty star feared she had broken her little toe, and took to Twitter.com on her way to the doctor’s clinic on Tuesday (11Jul11).
In a series of posts, she wrote, “I’ve been in a bit of a funk since yesterday when I hurt my toe pretty badly. I’m really really really hoping it’s not broken. I have a lot to do coming up & so I’m saying massive prayers it’s not.”
She later added, “Well, I’m in the clinic!? ugh… About to xray my toe. I need all your love & prayers in hopes (sic) it’s not broken.”
She breathed a sigh of relief soon afterwards when she learned the toe wasn’t broken, and she took to Twitter once more to detail how the injury happened.
Suvari explained, “I wasn’t even doing anything cool!!!I was walking out of a bathroom stall & hit it on the bottom side of the wall. Like, c’mON! Plain dumb…
“But seriously, thank you SOOOO much for all your love & prayers! Really means a lot to me & I’m so touched that we’ve shared in this experience together.”
