PerezHilton.com reports that Linda Evangelista has gone public and revealed that Salma Hayek’s husband – Francois Henri Pinault – is the father of her 4-year-old son, Augustin James.
Evangelista has been hinting that this meant Pinault cheated on Salma, but a source states, “Francois’ relationship with Linda was brief. They dated for three months in 2005. He didn’t even meet Salma until April of 2006.”
The source goes on to say that Linda arrived at a Manhattan family court recently for an imaginary court date. “There was a call scheduled between lawyers, but no court date. Francois was never supposed to be there.” While there, she brought along a member of the press and leaked the story that ended up in the papers.
“Linda didn’t even tell Francois she was pregnant until the 8th month.” Francois offered to pay child support, but Evangelista refused. An insider says, “She’s trying to smear his reputation and hurt Salma in an attempt to get more money.”
