I know we're a little late but we've been working hard behind the scenes. Plus we couldn't help but watch the show a few times.
To break up the long award season, we're not going to bore you with all the details you can find everywhere else on the web. Instead we will share some of the good, bad and awkward of the night.
First we'll start with the red carpet.

The Show
This year the Grammy's opted for a host and they couldn't have picked a safer one; LL Cool J maintained a somber appearance through the show. I was thrilled that Lady Gaga would not be performing and was highly anticipated Katy Perry's new song that was rumored to be about the fallout with Russell Brand - her {almost} ex-husband.
The Good
Katy Perry's performance was fantastic. She started out with E.T. but just when you thought they were having technical difficulties, the camera pans to a glass cage above the stage and the lights snap onto Katy. She begins with "Days like this I want to drive away Pack my bags and watch your shadow fade" and you just know this song is aimed at Russell Brand.
There were also lots of great acceptance speeches and we'd be doing you a disservice if we didn't mention Taylor Swift tweaking her lyrics of Mean to "Someday, I'll be singing this at the Grammy's and all you're ever gonna be is mean." It was hilarious to see Bruno Mars throw a tantrum {or was he happy} when he lost Best Pop Solo Performance to Adele.
The Bad
This was probably the hardest thing to pick because the show overall was pretty good. We all know Paul McCartney can perform but unfortunately his performance of My Valentine was just plain boring so it rings in as worst of the night.
And how many times can the lights go out for dramatic event before it's get old?
The Awkward
You almost felt sad for the next winner as he seemed out of place accepting an award.
In other awkward news: Who approved Nicki Minaj's performance tonight? Even the audience had no idea what she was doing. We know that's not the best she's got so what was she thinking?
So what moments did you find good, bad or awkward of the night?
