Lady Gaga is said to be suggesting collaboration with Britney Spears after being introduced to the pop star by her father at the Grammy Awards.

It’s no secret that Lady Gaga is a Britney fan. “She has even admitted she used to have posters of her on her wall and she was a great source of inspiration when she was a struggling songwriter,” a source told The Sun.

Rumor has it that at their Grammy meeting they exchanged numbers and talked about going into the studio after GaGa finishes her tour.

Britney Spears was rushed to the hospital caused fans to panic that something was serious wrong with Spears or one of her sons.

The pop singer received a police escort to UCLA  Medical Center Mattel Children’s Hospital shortly after noon on Monday.

Spears’ two sons, Jayden Sean, were not seen with her. The report was played down later as “a routine check up.”

Spears’ rep told E! that she was there for a simple matter. “Everything is fine. Britney is there for an annual physical.”

Perez Hilton contributed to the panic when he tweeted, “I’m hearing that @BritneySpears is in the emergency room right now. Hope its nothing major and everything is okay! Maybe her kids?”

The question yet to be answered, though, is why a police escort for a routine visit?

A celebrity photographer who briefly dated Britney Spears at the height of her career meltdown was sentenced to 45 days in jail on Friday after clashing with an official trying to serve him a restraining order.

Adnan Ghalib, 37, one of the paparazzi who trailed Spears night and day in 2007, was also ordered to complete an anger management program.

Los Angeles prosecutors alleged that in February Ghalib drove his car towards an official who was trying to serve a court order keeping him away from Spears and her family.

Ghalib pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident, and charges of assault were dropped.

According to report on Popeater.com, Britney Spears’s mother has given her blessing to Britney’s latest beau, agent Jason Trawick.

Popeater chimes in: “We have to say the bar for Britney’s men friends has been set so low that any dude who gets out of bed to go to work in the morning seems like a winner to us. Jason has a job, his own money, hasn’t been convicted of any felonies and he seems to love Britney just as she is.”

With a romantic past that has included brushes with everyone from Justin Timberlake and Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), to Jason Alexander, K-Fed and a malicious paparazzo, Spears’s personal life is due for an upswing.

Onlookers are saying this relationship might actually work because for the first time Spears isn’t with a man who needs her to make his career happen.

Britney Spears still doesn’t have custody of her kids, however Pop Tarts has been told the comeback kid of 2009 is still being remodeled and revamped into a sweeter starlet by her father and co-conservator, Jamie Spears.

“He’s really trying to clean up her image,” said an inside source. “He’s making a lot of changes to the people around her, everyone is a bit on edge they could be the next one to be replaced.”

We’re told daddy Spears and his team has been busy hiring and firing various people in the Spears camp from her tour assistant to one of her key online developers, and is possibly afraid of letting anybody get too close or learning too much about his troubled daughter.

“Britney’s family has seen what happens when she gets too close to outsiders and they lose control, they don’t want it happening again,” said the source.

But how does Britney apparently feel about all the changes?

“She is so out of it she just doesn’t care anymore,” added our insider. “She just does what she’s told and is totally in her world, she’ll even call people at all hours of night for a general conversation and acts like it’s the middle of the day or something.”

Britney and KFed will be splitting custody of their two kids through the end of the year, according to TMZ.

The order is an extension of a custody arrangement that was initially put in place to accommodate Britney’s tour schedule. Under the ruling, which the L.A. County Superior Court has just extended until the end of the year, the 27-year-old pop star has 50% custody and the right to travel with her kids, according to TMZ.

When she does bring her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James out on tour, however, the court ruling requires Brit to provide Federline with a place to stay. KFed is also compensated with $20,000 a month in child support in addition to up to $25,000 a month when the boys travel with their mother outside of California.

The ruling will be reassessed at the end of the year, though sources told TMZ that the current plan will likely be permanent.

Just when you thought Britney was satisfied with her new K-Fed, Jason Trawick, it seems the pop princess has already grown restless with the relationship.

According to a report in the New York Post, Spears, 27, has been spending some significant alone time with record producer Dallas Austin at his Atlanta home.

The two were holed up alone for a few nights together, reportedly discussing “music, life and work.”

The Teen Choice Awards air on Fox tonight.

The event took place last night in Los Angeles.
