Dancing With The Stars host Brooke Burke has admitted reports she is pregnant again were just an April Fool’s joke.
The 38-year-old star was rumoured to be pregnant with her fifth child after a report surfaced on her website ModernMom.com.
The rumour then started spreading – but Burke admitted that it was just an April Fool’s Day joke.
She wrote on Twitter: ‘April Fools Tweetie pies!!!!! But seriously!!!!! I am not preggers…. where is your sense of humour?!? I will not be Dancing With baby #5. IOL Got you!!!! April Fools!!!’
Burke added: ‘the joke was over when my MOM called me at my office to ask if I am Pregnant! The answer is a big Fat NO!… just because I have 4 kids, and I’m crazed…doesn’t mean I don’t have a sense of humor!!!’
Season 7 champion Brooke Burke will report for duty alongside Tom Bergeron as the new co-host of “Dancing With the Stars” when Season 10 premieres on March 22, ABC has announced.
The news came this morning on the network’s “Good Morning America.” Burke, as many “DWTS” fans may recall, claimed the hit reality TV series’ coveted Mirrorball trophy with her professional dance partner Derek Hough back in 2008. Now she has a chance to claim the backstage interviews as well.
Burke takes over the co-hosting gig from Samantha Harris, who stepped down from the show in January to focus on other gigs. And this mother of four is no stranger to hosting: Burke has hosted E!’s “Wild On!” series, “Rock Star: INXS” and, most recently, TV Land’s “She’s Got the Look.”
TV Land says television personality and former “Dancing With the Stars” champion Brooke Burke will host the third season of the reality modeling competition “She’s Got the Look.”
The show aims to find women over 35 with potential for becoming models.
Brooke Burke, television personality and mother of four children, has been named “Mommy Correspondent” on CBS Television Distribution’s The Doctors. Burke will pay house calls to mothers and act as a liaison between mothers and The Doctors’ panel of doctors. Burke’s first appearance on the show is scheduled for today.
