Singer extraordinaire Christine Aguilera has designed a car! No, this is not a misprint. The pop star has laid down her mike and picked up an interest in designing a vehicle that is green to benefit the Haitian quake victims. Word on the street is that she did a bang up job!
Chrysler asked Aguilera to brainstrom with other in-house designers and she came up with the Eco Style car. The vehicle not only boasts an economic engine but recyled materials are used all throughout its interior.
The petite vocalist turned treehugger, added her own special touches to the car. The vehicle also has sustainable materials such as a water-based Vanilla, cactus-colored seat-inserts and bamboo appliqué placed on the door trim and center console.

Christina Aguilera overcame the childhood pain she suffered at the hands of an abusive father by channelling her emotions into music.
The Beautiful hitmaker has opened up about her violent father Fausto in a new TV documentary, admitting that the U.S. army sergeant made life hell for her, her mother and sister Rachel.
She tells E!, “I witnessed a lot of unpleasant things – a lot of pushing and shoving and fighting and quarrelling. Growing up I did not feel safe. Feeling powerless is the worst feeling in the world. I turned to singing as an outlet. The pain at home is where my love for music came from.”
Christina Aguilera has revealed that she can’t maintain a strict diet and so she works out hard at night to maintain her figure. Apparently, the pop star, who loves her food, starts exercising once her son Max goes to bed.
“I don’t diet because I can’t. I love my food too much. I can’t even cut down on carbs because that’s so hard for me,” the Sun quoted her as saying. She said: “So I eat what I like and make sure I work out for an hour when Max goes to bed. It’s hard but it works for me.” The beauty has been trying to get back in shape after giving birth to her son 19 months ago.
You’ll be hearing more of Christina Aguilera’s voice on the radio soon, but it won’t be in the form of a song. Instead, the pop singer will work as a DJ.
Aguilera’s very own radio station is set to debut Friday. The 24-hour online channel will be distributed across Clear Channel Radio’s “iheartradio” network, and will feature interviews, news, personal commentary from Aguilera as well as her favorite tunes.
“It stands across so many different feels and genres from A Tribe Called Quest to the Beatles to Billie Holiday to Bjork to Black Sabbath, Jay-Z,” she said in a phone interview from Los Angeles on Wednesday.
There are reports out there that Christina Aguilera is interested in starring in “Burlesque,” a film about a modern-day striptease dancer, sources tell E! Online.
Although the site doesn’t have further information about how far along Aguilera is in the process of securing the role, there is word that “Dancing With the Stars” favorite Julianne Hough has also met with producers about co-starring as a pregnant showgirl.
Playing a burlesque dancer on film wouldn’t be too difficult for Aguilera, who got saucy covering Labelle’s “Lady Marmalade” for the “Moulin Rogue” soundtrack. She followed that up with her stint as “Dirrty” Christina on her 2002 album, Stripped, posing topless for the cover. Then, in 2006, she embraced her inner pin-up for Back to Basics. This would be the first major film role for the singer.
“I wasn’t going to give up who I was before I had the baby,” Aguilera said on the red carpet outside the Nokia Theatre, where she performed Wednesday during the “Grammy Nominations Concert Live!”

TRL finally came to an end tonight.
It was like old times in MTV’s Times Square studio. There were superstars everywhere you looked, frantic stagehands darting about, and down below — packed against police barricades — screaming kids … lots of screaming kids.
Beyonce, Ashlee Simpson, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey and plenty of others all made appearences on the finalle.
Carson Daly closed out the night at 11pm EST.
