Christina Milian is striking out against her husband The-Dream, filing legal papers claiming that the rapper is lying about the timeline of their breakup and that he had cheated on her during their brief marriage.

The-Dream(Terius Youngdell Nash) announced earlier this month that he and Milian had split after a photo of him frolicking with his bikini-clad assistant, Melissa Santiago, surfaced. According to his timeline, he and Milian had split up late last year, but hadn’t told anybody.

But according to papers filed by Milian in Nash’s home state of Georgia, that wasn’t the case. Milian’s filing claim the two had had “marital relationships on several occasions” after he filed the divorce papers. Milian also goes on to assert that Nash had cheated on her. She is asking a judge to toss out the divorce papers that Nash filed in February on the grounds that he lied about their marriage being “irretrievably broken.”

And in a final twist in this latest development, Milian wants an agreement that she signed waiving alimony and property rights to be invalidated—because, according to Milian, her husband brought them to her when she was nine months pregnant and in no condition to be signing such important papers.

And the case of Christina Milian and The-Dream’s surprise breakup continues to get messier.

The-Dream (real name: Terius Nash) was forced to announce that he and his wife Milian had split up earlier this week, after photos of him frolicking in in the Caribbean with his bikini-clad assistant, Melissa Santiago, surfaced. A statement released by the producer’s rep claimed that Nash and Milian had actually broken up late last year, but kept the split private for the sake of their daughter Violet. (After eloping last September, Nash and Milian renewed their vows during a lavish December ceremony in Rome; Violet was born in March.)

And now, in a blog post published on Friday, Nash reveals that he attempted suicide as he grappled with the anguish of his marriage’s disintegration:

“I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming.”

In the lengthy online missive, Nash also reasserts that his breakup with Milian had nothing to do with “another woman or a new relationship.” He does, however, offer an apology of sorts for not publicly acknowledging the breakup sooner:

“I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for misleading everyone into thinking everything was fine and okay when we knew problems existed for awhile. I would NEVER intentionally hurt a soul and everyone around me knows that!  There was so much going on in me and Christina’s personal world that I tried to deal with it as delicately as I could and tried to regain my footing.”

Christina Milian and her husband The-Dream has split just months after giving birth to a baby girl.

According to MediaTakeOut, the couple have been living apart for the past few weeks. Milian has been living in Los Angeles, while The-Dream, whose real name is Terius Youngdell Nash, has been living in Atlanta.

The site also reported that The-Dream was recently spotted partying at a nightclub
with a short-haired brunette. The 31-year-old rapper was spotted without his wedding ring.

On February 26, 2010, R&B singers The-Dream and  Christina Milian welcomed their first child together. According to reports, the couple welcomed baby girl Violet Madison Nash at 11:30 p.m. on Friday via c-section. The baby weighed in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces according to Milian’s  rep who confirmed the birth to Us Weekly.  Baby Violet  is the first child for Milian while Violet  is The-Dream’s fourth child; he has three children from his previous marriage to R&B singer Nivea. Congrats to the new parents!

Christina Milian announced on Friday that she and her husband, The-Dream, are expecting their first child, according to People magazine.

“My husband and I are expecting,” said Milian, who the magazine notes is already sporting a baby bump. “We’re about four and a half months along, about 19 weeks. We’re really excited.”

The couple married last month in Las Vegas, and soon after, rumors, began to surface that the newlyweds were also expecting a bundle of joy. They were also rumored to have had a second wedding ceremony in Rome.

Until now they have been mum about the rumors and Milian explains that neither the wedding nor the baby have come too soon for the couple. “Honestly, it was kind of planned,” she said. “We were engaged for many months.”

And although Milian worked with her new husband on her upcoming album, Elope, which was titled before the couple were married and is due out by the beginning of next year, she said the album title had nothing to do with their romance.

“Actually, the name change came … I don’t know if I was engaged yet, but it really didn’t have anything to do with that. ‘it [was] more so’ about taking a step as a woman and making decisions on my own and doing things without necessarily the permission of others. And I think that’s really more about adulthood and coming into adulthood,” she explained about the title’s significance. “I think that’s where we came up with that one.”

It’s The-Dream come true for Christina Milian.

The two singers wed in Las Vegas over the weekend, a source confirmed to Access Hollywood.

Despite reports that they’d rented outfits for the nuptials, the couple “wore their own nice clothes,” the source added.

A rep for Christina had “no comment” on the news when contacted by Access.

The longtime couple confirmed their engagement in July. Coincidentally, Christina’s forthcoming album – co-produced by The-Dream — will be titled “Elope.”

Tentative ruling removes Christina Milian from producer’s cross-complaint

Actress/R&B singer Christina Milian won a round in court today in a legal battle against the man behind her 2003 hit single “Dip It Low.”

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gregory W. Alarcon issued a tentative ruling that the young recording artist should be dismissed as a defendant in songwriter/producer Poli Paul’s cross-complaint. However, he said he wanted to think about the case further before making a final ruling.

While on our way inside DAR Constitution Hall Thursday night to see the Washington, DC, leg of Keyshia Cole’s A Different Me tour, S2S ran into lovebirds Terius “The Dream” Nash and Christina Milian. They told us they’re getting married and planning to have an engagement party in the Bahamas.

Keyshia told us backstage that she wanted to give The Dream and Christina a shout-out during her performance, but she wanted to let them say it first. Well, they’ve said it, so it’s official.

We dont know who her new love interest is but they are being seen everywhere together.  These photos have been taken of the lovebirds this afternoon.
