Demi Moore says she doesn’t know why she is considered a “poster girl” for age gap relationships after her marriage to actor Ashton Kutcher, who at 31, is 16 years younger than her.
“I’m certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster girl. I don’t know why that is. But I just kind of step back sometimes and say, ‘There is some reason, and what is it that I have to share in a positive way?’,” she was quoted as saying by fametastic.co.uk.
The Twitter-obsessed duo is threatening to sign off of the global networking site if a proposed reality show comes to fruition. According to Variety, Twitter.com is linking with TV producers Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment for an “unscripted show that would be putting ordinary people on the trail of celebrities in a revolutionary competitive format.”
Responded Kutcher: “Wow, I hope this isn’t true. I really don’t like being sold out. May have to take a twitter hiatus.”
Demi, who posted photos of herself with a missing front tooth over the weekend (below r.), echoed her young hubby: “I hope this isn’t true – if it is, our Twitter time may come to a quick and sad end!”
At 2:13am EST, Ashton Kutcher won the race against CNN to 1,000,000 followers. The first twitter user to get there! CNN trailed behind by 1,760 followers.
After winning, Ashton tweeted, “Victory is ours!!!!!!!!” He and his wife Demi Moore then proceeded to dance around the room to Kool & The Gang’s “Celebration.”
