Union “I Was Raped”

Filed under: Female Celebrities, Gabrielle Union — Tags: — Tim @ 8:44 pm

“When I was 19 years old, I was raped. I was working at a shoe store in California, and the store was robbed. The person robbing the store ended up putting a gun to my head and raping me. As he was raping me, I felt as though I was floating over myself, thinking, ‘This isn’t happening.’ I blanked out and had an out-of-body experience, like I was hovering above seeing this ¬horrible thing happen to someone else…not me. I was fortunate enough to go the UCLA rape crisis center after this horrific ordeal. It gave me my life back. My dignity and self-esteem were gone and they helped me find them again. That’s why I now lobby for state legislatures across the country and the federal government to help raise funds and awareness for rape crisis centers, and I speak to all different kinds of people across the country about what happened to me. My goal is to never hear the words ‘me too’ from someone after I say ‘I was raped.”

Union Wants Gossip Website To Take Down Anonymous Letter

Filed under: Female Celebrities, Gabrielle Union — Tags: — Tim @ 12:23 am

Gabrielle Union is taking legal action against a gossip website for printing a scandalous anonymous letter about her alleged sexual exploits. The “Bring It On” actress has demanded that the letter be brought down immediately.

A gossip website recently printed a letter from a nameless pro-athlete’s wife that claims the 36-year-old actress is trying to lure his husband into an affair.

The letter alleges that Union has had several relationships with various men, some of them even married, such as Dwayne Wade. The wife, who describes herself as “quite successful,” just let the rumors about the actress’ affairs slid before, but after Union approached her husband, she decided to reveal Union’s “unacceptable” behavior.

According to TMZ, Union’s lawyers have sent an ultimatum to the website to remove the letter, print a retraction and send an apology letter to her.

The website, Ezoox.com, claims they received the letter and decided to print it because “it seemed too real.”

However, the actress denies the allegations in the letter and said that the site should have been more responsible with their judgment before deciding to publish the slanderous letter.
