Add Jessica Alba to the list of celebrities whose waistlines we can now begin scrutinizing in the hopes of finding a baby bump.

The actor and mother is ready to give Honor Marie a little brother or sister—and by the sound of things, we won’t have to wait long. She recently told Tatler that she and Cash Warren very much plan on expanding their family.

“I feel like I should do it soon,” Alba said. “You bring these kids into the world, so you might as well participate.”

The “Valentine’s Day” actress, who has a toddler daughter, Honor Marie, with husband Cash Warren, helped out recently on an episode of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” in which TV’s feel-good construction swarm descended on a Texas foster family of 15.

“If you have the love and the capacity to love children, you should just adopt. And I plan on doing it,” Alba says per People.com.

Jessica Alba has confessed that she never wanted to get married as she had no faith in the institution.

The Sin City star, who had a quiet wedding with Cash Warren in 2008, said that she had a hard time agreeing to the marriage.

“I had a hard time agreeing with marriage at all because I feel like its been warped. Originally, it was two families coming together to make a stronger family. It was about survival – not love or soul mates,” Contactmusic quoted her telling Cosmopolitan magazine.

“There’s this mentality that you need the big dress and the big day – the day every girl gets to be a princess. I didn’t agree with any of that,” she added.

A reluctant Alba married Warren just weeks before giving birth to their daughter Honor Marie, and never wanted the union to go public.

“I chose to get married because, essentially, you’re given a deck of cards in life. The hand you were dealt with is your family and you can’t choose them.”

Jessica Alba is in negotiations to join the Ben Stiller/Robert DeNiro comedy “Little Fockers.” She’d play the role of an attractive pharmaceutical rep whose looks wreak havoc on male characters in the story.

Paul Weitz is directing the third installment in the successful Universal and Tribeca Productions franchise. Production is set to begin in the next few months, with a 2010 release date likely.

Jessica Alba will not face any criminal charges for plastering shark posters all over Oklahoma City on behalf of a conservation group.

“The decision has been made to close the case,” police Sgt. Gary Knight says in a statement. “The case will not be presented to the district attorney’s office.”
