Kristen Stewart shares her home with an unusual pet – the “Twilight” star is the proud owner of a wolf-dog “hybrid” named Jack.

The 20-year-old actress introduced the world to her odd companion during an interview with talk show host David Letterman, showing off pictures of her cuddling her furry friend.

Stewart admits having a wolf-mix breed as a pet is an unusual choice as the animals are often thought of as dangerous and “scary,” but she’s convinced life wouldn’t be the same without her beloved pooch.

She says, “This is my pet; this is Jack. He’s our oldest male. I know he looks kind of scary, he’s a wolf. He’s really sweet, he, like, falls at my feet.

“They told us he was a wolf. I don’t know what kind of wolf he is. They are wolf-dogs; they are hybrids. It’s my mom’s deal. Maybe it was a bit of empty nest syndrome, she wanted more children – because they really are hard to take care of. She likes them. Wolf hybrids are legal.”

And Stewart admits she gets upset when she hears of wolves being culled in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, adding: “And you know what, it’s such an awful thing… it’s awful!”

I see people on their phones and I just want to take these cookies and throw them. It’s like ‘Get off your fucking phone and get a life!’ I get so mad. It’s like you’re trampling on someone’s life without any regard. And it’s rampant. Everyone can do it now. Buy a camera and you’re paparazzi; get a Twitter account and you’re an informant. It’s so annoying.”

Kristen Stewart is apologizing for comments she made in Britain’s ELLE magazine which have left some people outraged.

“I really made an enormous mistake — clearly and obviously,” Kristen told People. “And I’m really sorry about my choice of words.”

The actress previously compared her life in the Hollywood spotlight and the constant hounding by the paparazzi to a sexual assault, telling Britain’s ELLE magazine in its July issue, “The photos are so … I feel like I’m looking at someone being raped. A lot of the time I can’t handle it. I never expected that this would be my life.”

“I’ve made stupid remarks before, and I’ve always reasoned: ‘Whatever. They can think what they want,’” she explained to People. “Violated definitely would have been a better way of expressing the thought.”

At 204 screens, the Kristen Stewart-Dakota Fanning  vehicle The Runaways added $470K (+182.2%) this weekend thanks to the addition of 120 sites, according to Box Office Mojo.

Its per-screen average, however, was low for a movie in limited release: $2,304. On the other hand, the good news is that The Runaways actually boasted a per-screen average increase after more than doubling its number of theaters. That’s quite unusual. Generally speaking, per-screen averages drop when there’s a surge in the number of theaters screening a particular movie.

Last weekend, at only 84 theaters, The Runaways averaged $1,981; the previous week, at 237 screens, its average was $1,920. Something was done right this weekend — I’m not quite sure what; Kristen Stewart’s 20th birthday celebration? — to bring more butts to more theaters seats.

The first picture from the upcoming film THE RUNAWAYS has hit the Sundance website.  The pic features Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie.  The film tells the rise and struggles of one of the first all girl, teenage rock bands (The Runaways) that were just as famous for their music as they were for their hardcore partying and rock-star lifestyles.  The film also stars Michael Shannon and Tatum O’Neal and is directed by Floria Sigismondi, who also wrote the screenplay.

This is a chance for Stewart to prove she’s more than just the whiny Bella from TWILIGHT.  Music bios are always a good time and it seems like the Runaways have a very exciting story.

“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” tore up the box office record for best opening day, grabbing the title away from Warner Bros. “The Dark Knight,” and earning a spectacular $72.7 million yesterday at 4,024 theaters.

An exceptional feat for a film playing outside the summer frame.

There were an array of estimates being reported on the internet about how high the first day of “New Moon” actually was. This morning’s figure is Summit’s official Friday estimate.

“Dark Knight” had minted $67.2 million from 4,366 runs on July 18, 2008 before making a three-day opening weekend of $158.4 million.

Kristen Stewart is baring it all.

The Twilight star will appear nude in an upcoming indie flick, “Welcome to the Rileys,” also starring James Gandolfini. The “Twilight” star plays the role of a 16-year-old lap dancer and prostitute, Mallory.

The movie tells the story of how Mallory reunites a grieving couple (Gandolfini and Oscar nominee, Melissa Leo) who have fallen apart after the death of their young daughter eight years before. The speculation is that Stewart will strip in several scenes.

“It’s an independent movie that nobody would normally see and now it’s like, ‘Oh, let’s go see Bella in this stripper movie—it’ll be crazy!” the actress told WENN.com.

Also coming up for Stewart is her role playing Joan Jett in “The Runaways” due next year, and the next two movies in “The Twilight Saga.”

It looks like Kristen Stewart has replaced her best friend Nikki Reed.

Robert Pattinson’s onscreen lover has been spending more and more time with Ashley Greene and new girl Dakota Fanning.

The trio have been eating lunch together away from the New Moon boys.

Nikki and Kristen have been really close ever since filming Twilight and enjoyed spending lots of time hanging out in Vancouver.
