Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green wed in a private ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort on the Big Island in Hawaii – just one week after they were engaged on the island.

TMZ said Transformers star Fox, 24 and actor Green, 36 – who began dating in 2004 after meeting on the set of US sitcom Hope & Faith – were married late last week.

Fox was so excited by Green’s beachside proposal she lost the two-carat engagement ring, Us Weekly said.

“Security and maintenance staff spent a couple of hours looking for it,” a source told the magazine. “No one found it.”

It was the couple’s second engagement after ending their previous two-year engagement last year.

Megan Fox will not be in “Transformers 3? but Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, a British model, was chosen by Michael Bay to play the lead role. After differences in opinion with director Bay, Fox left the series.

It was reported earlier Wednesday (May 19) that the actress, who starred in the first two installments of the “Transformers” franchise, wouldn’t be cast in the third picture, set to shoot this summer. A rep for Paramount confirmed to MTV News that the studio didn’t renew Fox’s option.

Now, Fox is saying it was she who opted out.

“Megan Fox will not be starring in ‘Transformers 3,’ ” reps for the actress, 24, told People magazine. “It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.”

Fox and Michael Bay famously exchanged heated words around the release of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” last summer, with the actress comparing the director to Hitler and the director saying the actress “still has a lot of growing up to do.”

Despite their contentious relationship, the pair seemed set to reunite this summer for a third “Transformers” flick. But Deadline.com broke the story earlier today that Paramount had declined to pick up Fox’s contractual option for “Transformers 3″ and that giving star Shia LaBeouf a “new love interest makes more sense for the story,” according to an unnamed source.

Fox’s next project, “Jonah Hex,” will be released June 18; it’s an action film also starring Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Will Arnett.

“Transformers 3″ is set to hit theaters July 2011.

Last month, word broke that Rose McGowan had joined the cast of director Marcus Nispel’s “Conan” reboot as “an evil half-human/half-witch” opposite Jason Momoa’s title character. The announcement came as surprise, since McGowan had also been attached to star in an adaptation of Robert E. Howard’s “Red Sonja” for nearly two years.

And while Red Sonja’s return to the big screen has been pushed back until after “Conan” is released, a new actress may be in line for the title role.

According to a report on Pajiba, Megan Fox is rumored to be replacing McGowan as the lead in “Red Sonja.” The report also claims that the previous incarnation of the movie has been scrapped and that director Douglas Aarniokoski has also left the project. However, the rumor has yet to be verified at press time.

Fox is already slated to play “Leila” opposite Josh Brolin in an adaptation of “Jonah Hex” later this year in addition to her potential starring turn in Michael Turner’s “Fathom.”

Rihanna has confessed that she is attracted to both men and women.

The Barbadian singer also admitted that she would like to do a lesbian scene with Megan Fox.

“All humans are born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes. I mean, I could see myself in a relationship with a girl,” the Mirror quoted her as saying.

The Disturbia hitmaker said she would like to play out her bisexual assassin on her movie debut.

Megan Fox will be the guest host on the first Saturday Night Live of the season. Musical guest will be none other than U2.
