“Tom Cruise And Reese Witherspoon To Be In A Movie Together” should be a strong enough headline to propel any production and get some attention from the mass audience. After all, the two actors are some of the biggest stars of the last 20 years. So when news broke in March  that they would be doing a movie together set in the world of rodeo it was big enough news. Apparently someone might not think there is enough star-power there.

Access Hollywood reports that Cruise was recently seen with Will Smith and a host of others at a restaurant where they were holding a table read for the aforementioned rodeo movie, titled Paper Wings. In addition to Smith, the other actors included Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Eric Dane, Tom Arnold, Johnny Galecki and Jenna Elfman. A representative for Smith’s company, which is producing the film, was quick to push down any prospective rumors, however, saying that “any actor’s presence at this table read does not mean that they have officially signed onto this project.”

It’s entirely possible that Smith was only there to oversee the table read as a producer as the report doesn’t say whether or not the actor was going over lines, but don’t you kind of hope that he will be involved? As unpopular as he is at the moment, Cruise still knows how to put on a terrific performance and seeing him act alongside a guy like Smith could remind an audience of that. Considering the actor is a bit busy with over 30 projects in development it’s not something I would put money on, but it would be good to see nonetheless.

Tom and Katie haven’t weaned Suri from a bottle and she’s four years old. Is this something to be worried about? Doctors suggest weaning a child from a bottle by the age of one. Same thing holds true for breastfeeding. Does a bottle harm a child once they turn that magical age?

Both of my children self weaned before they were two because we offered them spill proof sippy cups. They have since graduated to spill proof straw cups until they have mastered the art of keeping a cup upright. So, do I think a 4 year old is too old for a bottle? Every parent should know there child so I can only hope they are doing whats best for Suri. Would a 4 year old drink a bottle in my house? Probably not but only because kids have a tendency to mimic what they see and we have two older children that are bottle free.

I wouldn’t come out and say that Tom and Katie are doing a bad job of parenting but I do think they should take a look around them. Suri is 4 years old and she’s already being teased by the cruel world. I would hope they are already teaching her some fabulous comebacks to say to those cruel “kids” she’ll run into every day.

I’ve heard some people knocking Scientology for trusting that our children know their own bodies. My boys knew when they had enough of bottle or breast and they gradually weaned themselves. Children trust their bodies a lot more than adults trust their own bodies. That’s because we have spent many years not trusting ourselves and being taught that our bodies must meet some criteria set by “important” people. I have yet to encounter a child, barring health issues, would indulge themselves in sweets 24/7/365 if given a choice. Even the children that are restricted from candy except on occasion would eventually turn to food that is healthier for them.

Suri Cruise is set to get a sibling, as mother Katie Holmes is preparing for her second child with Scientology lessons.

The 31-year-old actress has been undergoing intense Scientology “auditing” and is “being prepared” for her second with husband Tom Cruise, who is also a high-priest of the religion, reported the New York Post.

After promoting the Kevin Kline movie The Extra Man, and The Romantics, at Sundance, Holmes is back to spending hours at the Hollywood Scientology Center.

“This is exactly what happened just before she got pregnant with Suri. Tom has made no secret of the fact that he would like another baby. It is almost as if she is being prepared for it,” said a source close to the couple.

Scientologists believe the “health and the sanity of the child begin long before birth,” according to a church-run Web site, which campaigns for silent birth.

A report that Tom Cruise was injured in Hollywood on Oscars Sunday has yet to be confirmed.

The report had Cruise injured slightly in a motorcycle accident when he tried to avoid colliding with a car outside a restaurant in Los Angeles.

The Knight and Day star, 47, was noticeably absent from the Academy Awards ceremony playing out in Hollywood.

But according to one website, Gossip Cop, sources close to the star have confirmed the reports are false. The source of the confirmation was clarified as a rep for his wife, Katie Holmes. Cruise’s representative could not be reached, the website reports.

According to a report carried in the New York Daily News, Cruise was forced to veer his red Ducati after an SUV ran a stop sign, causing his bike to spin out of control. The newspaper traced the report to HollywoodLife.com.

‘It was like a scene from Mission Impossible,’ a witness was quoted as saying.

The report claims Cruise struggled to his feet and appeared to limp slightly. Five people ran to help him. Cruise then sat outside KOI Restaurant on La Cienega Boulevard and made at least two phone calls as he waited for paramedics to arrive, witnesses said.

It has been three years ago that we first heard of Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller teaming for “The Hardy Men” comedy, based on the literary detective brothers The Hardy Boys.

Writer Simon Kinberg (X-Men: The Last Stand, Sherlock Holmes) and director Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum) have been attached for years, but according to Levy, very little progress has been made. There isn’t even a storyline in place.

“Developing a movie for a movie star is hard. Developing a movie for two movie stars is a very, very challenging enterprise,” he explained. “The bull’s eye is small and the tone has to be exactly right. So we are still working on it.”

The film adaptation would explore the reunion of the estranged, grown-up brothers, who work together to solve a new mystery.

Cameron Diaz is reuniting with her Vanilla Sky costar Tom Cruise for a new Hollywood blockbuster, according to reports.

The pair — who first shared the screen in the 2001 film — have teamed up again in a new untitled movie project with Walk The Line director James Mangold.

“Cameron plays a woman on a blind date who ends up being embroiled in a dramatic adventure with Cruise, who portrays a top US spy,” a source told Britain’s Daily Express newspaper.

Well, that was partly true. The two are now practically done deals for what’s being called an action comedy, according to Variety.

The movie, dubbed “Wichita,” follows a single woman (Diaz) whose life is repeatedly interrupted by a handsome but mysterious secret agent (Cruise). Sparks will presumably fly between the two characters.
