With a successful acting career and a hit television show, it can’t be easy to look after a young child.

But American Pie star Alyson Hannigan was clearly loving the challenge yesterday as she took her 17-month-old daughter Satyana Marie to the playground.

And onlookers couldn’t have failed to spot the resemblance between the 36-year-old actress and her daughter as they played on the climbing frames in the Los Angeles sunshine.

David Boreanaz may never feel like bringing Angel back from the undead for a “Buffy” and/or “Angel” reunion, but “Buffy” resident, Alyson Hannigan (who played Willow in the series), wouldn’t be against it.

Unless, of course it has anything to do with those plans to remake the cult-loved TV show and movie without its creator, Joss Whedon. “Yeah, and that’s a very big mistake in my opinion,” she told Cinemablend. “I mean if Joss isn’t involved, it’s only the title.”

If the rumors are true and they go through with remaking the series without Joss, she wouldn’t even drop by for a quick cameo. “Not without Joss. Joss is the only reason that we would go back. I mean, it’s just ridiculous to think of that TV show without Joss,” the “How I Met Your Mother” star explained. “That’s just silly to me… And all the fans know that, too, so I don’t know what they’re thinking.”

According to a reader who was just visiting his relatives in Los Angeles, he went to an In-N-Out Burger where he saw Alyson Hannigan. He recognized her from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Date Movie.

He claimed that she was with two men, one was Avi Arad, who he recognized from behind the scenes stuff from different Marvel DVDs. He could not figure out who the other man was but if I had to guess I would say it may have been Todd Black.

Not that this really has much significance but I thought it was interesting as Avi Arad will be casting for The Black Cat’s lead roles soon.

Hannigan’s publicist told People magazine she gave birth to her daughter March 24, the actress’ 35th birthday.

Alyson Hannigan can not get enough pickles.

She is pregnant with her first child and can not get enough sweet, kosher pickles.

And Hannigan is also picky about baby names for their unborn son – she has ruled out Dennis Denisof.

Her husband Alexis Denisof adds, “She ruled out Bruce, which I was opting for, and I also got overruled on Dennis.”
