Alicia Keys And Beyonce Knowles Put It In A Love Song Music Video Delayed as Alicia Keys and Beyonce Knowles were slated to release their highly anticipated duet soon, but it appears that the release of the song has been pushed back until the summer. Keys is reportedly electing to release her song with the rising rapper Drake before releasing her song with Beyonce Knowles. The video for their collaborative song has already been shot. The two stars headed to the slums of Rio de Janiero, Brazil to film the music video for their song which is titled “Put It In A Love Song.” The song was recorded last year, for Keys’ latest album, The Element of Freedom.

Instead of promoting her song with Beyonce, Keys has elected to promote “Unthinkable” which will feature Drake. Drake has seen his stock rise in recent months after he was discovered by Young Money headliner Lil’ Wayne, and signed to his label, Young Money Entertainment.

Keys told Rap-Up.com “Expect it right after my Unthinkable video. It’s kind of nice that I have such a great video with such a great artist in the can. They’re going to be able to see the Unthinkable video first and then see Put It In A Love Song, but it probably won’t come until closer to this summer.”

While Drake is featured on “Unthinkable,” it has been reported that the singer helped write the song, and lent some background vocals to the song, but didn’t make much of an appearance other than that. According to Keys, he will not be featured in the video, but she said that she hopes to collaborate with him again in the future.

Beyonce Knowles has won permission to play a concert in Trinidad and Tobago – after organizers threw the show into jeopardy by failing to apply for a permit in time. The superstar is due to bring her “I Am… ” world tour to the Caribbean country on February 18 with a show in Port of Spain.

But the gig was thrown into doubt in January after organizers missed their deadline to apply for a noise variation permit from the country’s Environmental Management Agency (EMA) – sending in the paperwork seven days late. If the event went ahead without proper authorization, the concert could be shut down and organizers fined thousands of dollars.

But bosses at the EMA have stepped in and granted the application, after organizers complied with regulations to advertise the event well in advance and warn local residents about the concert, according to the Trinidad and Tobago Express newspaper.

Beyonce Knowles may follow in the footsteps of Celine Dion and star in her own show at Sin City resort Wynn Las Vegas. The R&B singer was said to be in talks with the venue, and the possibility of a lucrative, long-term contract was not ruled out.

According to company officials, a deal with the Single Ladies hit maker was yet to be reached, reports the Daily Express. Beyonce was at the resort earlier this year while filming a gig DVD, to help boost slow sales at the resort.

Beyonce Knowles reportedly booked a hotel room just for her luggage, reported entertainment media on Monday.

The star stayed in the luxurious S$5,682-a-night Charles Forte Presidential Suite at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, UK, while performing in Liverpool, but discovered that it wasn’t big enough for her luggage.

Beyonce then had her entrourage make a second booking for her 12 bags to be stored in another room at another hotel, reported celebrity website Bang Showbiz.

The star’s luggage ended up in a S$393-a-night room at Liverpool’s Malmaison hotel said a source from the hotel.

‘She had seven suitcases, three hand-luggage bags and two boxes, all for her mammoth concert.

‘In the cases there were, apparently, 14 dresses, lots of shoes, make-up and 25 wigs,’ the hotel source told Bang Showbiz.

The postponement of R ‘n’ B singer Beyonce Knowles’ concert is now being seen as a calculated sabotage by some parties to protect their own interests.

The claim was made by industry sources after Beyonce postponed the concert, which was to take place on October 18 at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil. “Beyonce and her team have been given a misinformed picture about Malaysia to scare her away,” New Straits Times Online quoted a source as saying.

The source also said that the scenario was stickier now because it had become a cutthroat competition to put one country on the world entertainment map. The dress code and Pas Youth protests played a minor role in this ruthless game, the source added, “but they helped fuel the fear”.

Beyonce Knowles’ concert in Malaysia was postponed by the singer herself, revealed Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim.

Datuk said that there was no interference by his ministry on the matter and that Beyonce, 28, who was scheduled to hold the concert on October 18, had decided to postpone the concert on her own, reports New Straits Times Online.

In a federal suit, the Ohio-based chain of popular mall stores sued Knowles, saying they already own the name of her upcoming scent.

The grammy-winning singer announced this week that she had teamed up with fragrance maker Coty, which launched the celebrity scent craze in 2002 when Jennifer Lopez’ Glow racked up $100 million in sales in one year.

Knowles’ perfume, named after her onstage alter ego, Sasha Fierce, is supposed to launch next spring.  Her line of clothing, also called Sasha Fierce, just debuted in department stores.

The superstar singer described her new scent as “an alluring and sophisticated fragrance; one that’s refelective of my inner power.”

Beyonce Knowles reportedly threw Lindsay Lohan out of her dressing room at the F1 rocks concert in Singapore.

Knowles was performing over the weekend and had ordered her entourage to get her the largest dressing area backstage. However, Lindsay who was hosting the event for British TV network, had already claimed the room for herself as she had arrived before. Later, Lohan was told that she would have to vacate it, reports contactmusic.com.

This incident has upset Lohan. “I have been a bit down after I was told to vacate the room. It was a strange night. Everyone was being aggressive and bothering me. I really didn’t like it,” she said.

Beyonce Knowles is reportedly going to reunite with her girl group Destiny’s Child in 2010. The trio made up of Michelle Williams, 29, Beyonce, 27, and Kelly Rowland, 28, went their separate ways in 2005 to pursue their own solo careers but are now rumored to be getting back together according to Michelle, who spoke to British newspaper News of the World.

“It definitely will happen. We’re sisters, we love each other and we want to work on the future of Destiny’s Child.”

According to an inside source the “Bootylicious” beauties are still under contract with Columbia records and they are still owe the record label a another album.
